Asbestos Compliance Solutions Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Helpdesk Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience working within the asbestos industry, understands the basics of asbestos surveying and removal, and is looking to develop their skills and take on more responsibility.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day coordination of our asbestos services, working closely with our operational teams, surveyors, site operatives and clients to ensure jobs are organised and delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

As Helpdesk Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming client enquiries, emails and telephone calls.
  • Coordinating and scheduling asbestos works.
  • Liaising with clients, surveyors, operatives and management to arrange and monitor works.
  • Managing job bookings, appointments and scheduling requirements.
  • Monitoring the progress of jobs and ensuring clients are kept informed.
  • Maintaining accurate job records and updating internal management systems.
  • Assisting with the preparation and coordination of relevant job documentation.
  • Ensuring reports and other documentation are issued to clients within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting the operational team with day-to-day administrative and coordination requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving scheduling issues, escalating matters where necessary.
  • Helping to maintain a high standard of customer service and communication.

About You

We are looking for someone who has previous administrative or coordination experience within the asbestos industry and is keen to develop their career.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative or coordination role within the asbestos industry.
  • A basic understanding of asbestos surveying, removal and associated industry terminology.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when managing information.
  • Confidence in communicating with clients, site operatives and management.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using job management or scheduling systems.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Please note: Previous experience within the asbestos industry is essential for this position.
