Site Auditor – Asbestos Management (Southern England & Wales)

The Role
Aspect Contracts is looking to appoint a Site Auditor to join its expanding SHEQ team, covering Southern England and Wales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate broad experience within the asbestos management and/or construction sector, ideally with a background in Safety, Quality Auditing or Site Inspection. A strong understanding of current asbestos regulations and HSE licensing protocols is essential, along with an appreciation of client operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out auditing activities across asbestos management and construction environments
- Taking responsibility for auditing within the designated regional area
- Supporting the SHEQ department with initial authorisations once deemed competent
- Assisting in the identification and preparation of refresher training, including Toolbox Talks
- Investigating complaints and non-conforming works in line with existing SHEQ policies
- Undertaking practical and theoretical inspection and calibration of equipment, including RPE
- Supporting other regions when required during busy periods or holiday cover
Additional Information
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in different environments
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Occasional out-of-hours working and overnight stays may be required
- Full training will be provided on Aspect Contracts’ bespoke in-house software

Job Requirements
- Background in asbestos management, construction, safety, quality auditing or site inspection
- Sound knowledge of current asbestos regulations and HSE licensing requirements
- Demonstrable experience of complaint handling and resolution
- Trustworthy, professional and open approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, methodical and accurate
- Ability to motivate individuals at all levels and promote a positive safety culture
- Ideally hold a current CSCS card
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and mobile systems)
- Full UK driving licence (required for company vehicle use)
