The Role
- Carry out a wide range of asbestos surveys (management, refurbishment & demolition) to HSG264 standards.
- Record findings and produce high-quality reports using ACS’s own reporting system.
- Communicate confidently with clients, site contacts and the ACS management team.
- Support the procurement and quality assurance of asbestos workstreams.
Although we always try to allocate work close to your home base, UK-wide travel and overnight stays will be required (with expenses reimbursed).
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified: BOHS P402 essential (additional qualifications a bonus).
- Experienced: Minimum 3 years of hands-on asbestos surveying across a variety of premises.
- Professional & Personable: Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Flexible & Mobile: Willing to travel anywhere in the UK.
- Equipped: Own transport, tools and equipment as a self-employed contractor.
- Self-motivated: Able to manage your own workload and deadlines.
(Any ancillary training such as ladder inspection would be at your own cost.)
