Your new role
As our new Asbestos Consultant, you will deliver strategic Asbestos risk management services to clients across a wide range of sectors, throughout the UK and overseas. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to apply their practical experience and industry knowledge and move into a project management level position to further develop their career. We operate a flexible hybrid working policy and candidates will be based between our London, Leeds or Birmingham office and home working. There will be an expectation of travel to the Midlands and other parts of the UK as part of this role.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering strategic asbestos risk management services to clients across a wide range of sectors, throughout the UK and overseas
- Providing services to ensure related projects are managed to the highest standard
- Supporting the clients/stake holders supply chain decision making
- Advising on best practice and policy development
- Dealing with potential exposure incidents
- Management of asbestos survey and abatement projects
- Development of Asbestos Management Plans and Risk Reporting

These include:
- Experience in asbestos consulting and management of survey/abatement projects
- Comfortable working in a team, and able to manage own workload
- Ability to deliver a wide range of asbestos risk management solutions
- Understanding of current and emerging asbestos legislation and best practice
- Confident in a client facing and developing environment
- Experience writing proposals, survey reports, asbestos plans and registers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client stakeholder and supply chain management
- Site experience of surveying and analytical work would also be advantageous
