The opportunity
Due to our continued growth and the winning of some large-scale HazMat projects, we have a great opportunity for a HazMat Consultant to join our Perth, Western Austrlian team to both lead and/or complete hazardous materials project work for our clients and contribute towards the expansion of our HazMat team.

You will have the skills and experience in the following areas.
- Conducting surveys and/or inspections and/or managing the completion of surveys/inspections for the presence of asbestos/hazardous materials building materials.
- Conducting and/or managing the completion of asbestos airborne fibre sampling, in accordance with relevant standards or guidance documents.
- Undertaking visual clearance inspections following asbestos remediation.
- Managing asbestos remediation projects for our clients.
- Writing technical reports and developing asbestos registers, management plans and technical scopes.
- Assisting in the management of large-scale HazMat projects.
You will bring the following to the role.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as an asbestos surveyor.
- Ideally, holds P402, P403 and P404 qualifications.
- Experience in using relevant asbestos/hazardous materials management software (e.g. TEAMS, AlphaTracker, etc.).
- A high attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus on the task in hand.
- A highly organised approach and great at planning work activities.
- Flexibility with working arrangements, as site travel, potentially to remote locations, is a regular part of the role.
- A willingness to learn and to act as a guide/mentor to less experienced members of our HazMat team.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to engage with and contribute to a growing dynamic team.
